It’s Japanese kanji symbols for “Pride”.
- “Hoko” means “pride”
- “Ri” is declensional kana ending
Japanese are proud of ourselves, because we’ve kept calm at this earthquake.
ONE PIECE, NARUTO, BLEACH… I am proud of Japanese Manga. By the way, I wonder why “pride” and “dust” are the same pronunciation. Both are pronounced “Hokori” in Japanese. Usopp told a joke used “Hokori” in the first appearance.
